Glowe is situated on the southern beach of the Schaabe, an 8 km long narrow tongue of land which connects the Wittow and Jasmund peninsulars.

The former fishing village has become a popular resort because of its beautiful Baltic Sea beach with views across to Cape Arkona, the ideal starting point for walking or cycling. The preserved unaffectedness of nature, the closeness of the Bodden (a sea-connected lake) and the good stimulating climate.This area has outstanding, unaffected natural beauty, and enjoys a superb climate.
